A Weekend Getaway

A short one today…
One of my favorite memories, growing up was going on summer trips to Rehoboth Beach. The excitement would build and build until I say the coast and it was then I knew I was in wonderland. Now that I myself am a father, I want my son, Baby G, to have the same memories. This past weekend we packed up the car and headed to the shores of Rehoboth to enjoy a nice weekend away. Unfortunately Mother Nature decided to scorch the earth with blistering temperatures so we spent the majority of the weekend at the outlet stores and touring the Dogfish Head brewery in Milton (personal highlight, ha!). I don’t know whether it was the heat or the fact that vacationing with an infant can be quite the undertaking… I didn’t feel like carrying around my “professional” camera very much. I shot a few images but mainly relied on the best camera I have on me at all times… my iPhone. Here is a collection of images from both.
Told you this would be a short post

Rehobth Beach Boardwalk

We had to keep Baby G cool with a kiddie pool on the beach. It was HOT!

I took Baby G on a brewery tour of my favorite beer. Dogfish Head
Don't judge... it was hot out and they had air conditioning.

I enjoy craft beers

I brought home a souvenir

even though I like the experience of eating yummy crabs... I'm probably the only Marylander that gets a little uneasy cracking the bodies open

Rockfish... Freakin' AWESOME!
